I’ve thought about this post for a while now.
I thought about creating one detailed post but it’d be very long!
I thought about how I could create a series of posts and make it easy to follow; describing the whole experience that we had in stages, rather than, one long post.
I’ve now decided to express my opinion and give you the option to find out more if you so wish to.
You see, I think I’ve spent far too much negative energy on this company already. So rather than spend more time creating posts & explain why I wouldn’t recommend Ruislip Movers; I’ve decided to just say that I wouldn’t use them again if someone paid me! 😐 It’s a shame that I feel this way but there you go…
If you want to know more get in touch and if not, it’s fine.
Take care
Heena 🙂

Hi Heena,
We used Ruislip Movers back in October and were unhappy about a number of things. My husband and I are curious about your experience.

Good day Heena….
I came across your website whilst looking for potential clients in the Eastcote/Ruislip area.
My work involved education companies on how the internet will bring in more custom.
The issue is not the above but rather why you have helped Ruislip Movers by giving them a link back to their website?
Hope no more negative air is with yourself 🙂
Kind Regards
Jason

Thanks Jason.
Much more positive now! 🙂
I included the link so potential customers would see my post if they searched for the company and they’d then know to avoid them.
Do you think I’ve approached it in the wrong way?

Ruislip Movers recently moved us from Ickenham to North London and from start to finish their professionalism and commitment to do the job to the highest standards was very evident. From the first contact when we were looking for a quote to the actual move itself, everything was made to make us feel that we were in very safe hands. Thank you Kevin and Leanne for keeping us so well informed and very special thanks to Removal Foreman Chris and his four crew members who magically packed up all our possessions and then moved them, all within the space of three days! We would not hesitate to recommend Ruislip Movers to anyone who wants to alleviate the stress of moving house. Highly recommended.

You are lucky.
Our fridge was damaged.
It took 2 men a whole day and more to move us out of flat and in to a house. This is very slow according to their line manager.
They tried to get our office desk through the window without dismantling it. Then the tried another window. THEN they dismantled it. When they put it back together they damaged it and the leg was not fitted in a stable way. Thus it wobbled when nudged!
They were meant to run an errand and then come to our new home within 10 minutes. They took over 40 minuted. Their line manager was not pleased!
We were asked to sign the notes which the line manager made when we complained about it all.
He gave us some compensation and said it was a gesture of good will but he’d get someone to sort out the fridge as well AND he would come and collect the boxes.
We trusted him so we stupidly didn’t ask for a copy of the paper we signed.
He told HIS line manager that the sheet we signed alleviated them from doing anything further for us.
They didn’t come and collect the boxes and they didn’t come and fix the scratches on the fridge.
They also didn’t give us a copy of the notes we signed which would prove that it did NOT say that we were accepting the little compensation they gave us and that would be it!
Not a good day at all 🙁

Dear all,
I have been contacted by Ruislip Movers recently.
They assure me that the staff that behaved inappropriately have now moved on and they have put systems in place to ensure that customers do not experience anything like this again.
Maybe it’s worth giving them a try 🙂
