A friend of mine sent this poem to me.
There are so many levels within it, in which we can only grow. 🙂
What do you think of it?
I am not ‘my’ reputation.
My reputation is yet another sheepskin my ego wears.
If I have to choose between my reputation and following my heart, I go with my heart.
I remain independent of the opinions of others – what other people think of me is none of my business.
While I am open to seek guidance and objective feedback from others, I make my own decisions based on my own independent thinking.
I am self-reliant and give up the need for external approval.
When an important decision needs to be made, I consider various options and ultimately follow my heart, for only my heart knows the song I’m here to sing.
I let other people debate my reputation and do not lose any sleep over their verdict, which has nothing to do with me.
