I received this message from Caroline today. I can’t wait to go! I’ve heard that they often have the most delicious ice cream made of rice milk there! Yum yum! 🙂
The London Vegan Festival will take place this year on Sunday 7th September from 11am – 8pm at Kensington Town Hall.
Originally called the National Vegan Festival, this year the London Festival celebrates
its 10th anniversary.
Highlights include comedian, Andrew O’Neill, renowned musicians Robb Johnson and Tracey Curtis, new stallholders, free nutrition information, and an array of interesting talks and workshops. There will be something for everyone: children, adults, vegans and non-vegans alike.
For more information and timetable (which will be online soon), visit www.vegancampaigns.org.uk/festival
We will need lots of help on the day with a range of tasks including fire marshalling, stewarding, traffic marshalling (from 8am and again from 6pm – 9pm), setting up and clearing up, tidying up and collecting rubbish and recycling during the day, doing a shift on the Vegan Campaigns stall, introducing speakers and leafleting outside. If you would like to volunteer, please email info@vegancampaigns.org.uk
If you would like us to send you some leaflets to put out in your local areas (e.g. sports centres, GP surgeries, libraries, health food shops) or to give to family or colleagues, please email us your name
and address and approx number of how many you would like to hand out.
If you would like us to send you an e-banner for your myspace page or other websites, please also let us know!
Thanks!
Caroline 🙂
