I had a clear out recently and found lots of cables that I didn’t need. Really simple….I went to a shop of the High Street that sells electrical goods, cables, paint etc. and gave it to them.
I didn’t bother requesting money for them. They clearly had lots of cables and did not need more. As a gesture of good will they offered to give me a discount off my next purchase.
Even if they hadn’t done this, it’s a win-win situation because I’ve freed up some space, the items have not gone to waste and gone in the bin and someone will benefit from them.
